Flamingo Land has revealed its full Halloween 2026 line-up, with the North Yorkshire theme park promising a packed programme of spooky entertainment, family activities, scare mazes, rides in the dark, fireworks and a brand-new drone show.
The Halloween celebrations will take place throughout October, with activities aimed at both families looking for some seasonal fun and older visitors wanting a more intense Halloween experience.
One of the headline attractions this year will be the return of Stalk in the Park, which Flamingo Land says will be “bigger and better than ever”.
Stalk in the Park returns
Flamingo Land’s main Halloween scare event, Stalk in the Park, will run from 9–18 October and 24–31 October 2026.
The separately ticketed event will feature two scare mazes, with visitors challenged to make their way through the attractions while encountering scares along the way.
The Halloween experience will then continue outside the mazes, with selected rides operating in the dark.
From 4pm until 8pm, visitors will be able to experience rides including Kumali, Cliff Hanger and Voodoo under the night sky.
The Halloween Express will also return as part of the evening experience.
Stalk in the Park tickets cost £20 per person, with visitors able to arrive from 3pm for the special entry option.
The scare attractions begin at 5:30pm, while the rides in the dark start from 4pm.
For those who want to experience the scare mazes again, Flamingo Land says repeat visits to each maze will be available for an additional £5 per person, per maze.
The event is aimed at visitors aged 13 and over, with anyone aged 13–17 required to be accompanied by an adult.
Halloween fun for younger visitors
Halloween at Flamingo Land isn’t just about scares.
Younger visitors can take part in the Trick or Treat experience, running from 9–31 October between 10am and 4:30pm.
The interactive trail will send children around five secret locations across the park, where they can collect sweet surprises to fill their goodie bag.
The Trick or Treat experience costs £5 per person and can be purchased from Flamingo Land’s retail shops.
Halloween fancy dress competition
Visitors are also being encouraged to dress up for Flamingo Land’s Halloween fancy dress competition.
The competition will take place at 1:45pm at the Pirate Ship in The Plaza on selected October dates.
The 2026 dates are:

- 14 October
- 16 October
- 17 October
- 21 October
- 23 October
- 24 October
- 28 October
- 30 October
- 31 October
The competition is open to all ages, with the winner receiving a Flamingo Land Family Ticket for 2027.
Brand-new Halloween show
A new Halloween show will also be introduced this year.
The family-friendly show will take place at The Club from 4:30pm until 5:15pm on selected dates between 12–15 October and 19–31 October.
Flamingo Land describes the production as a brand-new Halloween show designed to provide family-friendly frights and entertainment as the daytime park experience moves into the evening.
Fireworks return throughout October
There will also be several opportunities to see Halloween fireworks at Flamingo Land.
Displays are scheduled for:
- 14 October
- 24 October
- 28 October
- 30 October
Entertainment will begin at 6:15pm, with the fireworks scheduled for 6:45pm.
Flamingo Land notes that the fireworks are subject to suitable light levels and weather conditions, meaning displays could be postponed or cancelled if conditions aren’t suitable.
Drone show announced for Halloween night
For the biggest Halloween night of the season, Flamingo Land will replace the fireworks with a drone show on 31 October.
The display will take place over Plaza Square, with entertainment beginning at 6:15pm and the drone display scheduled to start at 6:45pm.
The park says the display is also subject to weather and light conditions.
More rides after dark
Visitors attending the fireworks and drone show dates will also have opportunities to stay entertained while waiting for the evening entertainment.
The Hub will remain open until 6:15pm, with selected rides including Frog Hopper and Pink Elephants available for younger visitors.
Guests can also visit the arcades or stop for a hot drink at Fuel Stop Cafe.
For thrill-seekers, Flamingo Land says Velocity will offer twilight launches, giving visitors the chance to experience the coaster in the dark.
Halloween short breaks available
Flamingo Land is also promoting Halloween-themed short breaks for visitors who want to turn their visit into an overnight stay.
The resort currently offers Halloween holiday packages, with accommodation guests able to combine their stay with access to the theme park and zoo, alongside the wider resort entertainment programme.
For visitors planning a Halloween trip, staying on-site could provide an opportunity to make more of the evening entertainment rather than travelling home immediately after the park closes.
Halloween 2026 at Flamingo Land
With Stalk in the Park returning alongside family Halloween activities, a new show, fireworks and a drone display, Flamingo Land is preparing for one of its biggest Halloween programmes of the year.
The combination of daytime family activities and evening entertainment means there will be different experiences depending on when visitors choose to attend.
For younger children, the Trick or Treat trail and fancy dress competition provide a more family-focused Halloween experience, while older visitors can head into Stalk in the Park and experience Flamingo Land’s rides after dark.
With the Halloween season beginning in October, visitors are being encouraged to check the individual dates and ticket requirements before travelling, as some experiences are separately ticketed and entertainment can be subject to change.
