Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is introducing several new ways for visitors to enjoy its rides and attractions when the festive event returns to London for the 2026 season.
Running from 19 November 2026 until 3 January 2027, this year’s Winter Wonderland will feature two brand-new ride passes alongside a new Ride & Game Credit system, giving visitors more flexibility when planning their day.
New Coaster Pass for 2026
For thrillseekers, the new Coaster Pass is designed to bring together five of Winter Wonderland’s headline roller coasters in one pass.
Priced at £43.10, the Coaster Pass includes anytime entry to:
- Euro Coaster
- Ice Mountain
- Wilde Maus XXL Coaster
- The Time Machine
- Munich Looping
Visitors will also receive fast track entry for Ice Mountain, Wilde Maus XXL Coaster and Munich Looping, which Winter Wonderland says is worth £9.40.
The pass also unlocks free entry to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, worth up to £9.50 per person.
The line-up offers a mixture of traditional rollercoaster thrills and more unusual attractions. Munich Looping, for example, features five loops, while Ice Mountain is an indoor spinning coaster themed around an Arctic adventure.
For coaster fans looking to experience several of the event’s biggest rides during one visit, the new pass could offer a convenient alternative to purchasing individual rides.
Explorer Pass offers a mixture of rides and attractions
Also new for 2026 is the Explorer Pass, aimed at visitors who want a broader selection of experiences rather than focusing exclusively on rollercoasters.
The pass costs £49 and includes anytime entry to five attractions:
- Real Ice Slide
- Haunted Mansion
- Snow Jet
- Après Ski Party Funhouse
- Pirate Ship
The Explorer Pass also unlocks free entry to the event, worth up to £9.50 per person.
The selection offers something for different types of visitors. The Real Ice Slide lets guests race down an ice-covered slide, while the Haunted Mansion adds a spooky element to the festive experience.
Snow Jet starts as a gentle winter-themed ride before becoming considerably faster, while the Après-Ski Party Funhouse is a multi-level walk-through attraction featuring moving steps, wobbly floors and a double slide.
Winter Wonderland says the Pirate Ship can also be pre-booked online as part of the Explorer Pass, making it an exclusive booking option.
Ride & Game Credit introduced
Alongside the two new passes, Winter Wonderland is also introducing Ride & Game Credit for 2026.
The new system allows visitors to purchase credit before arriving and then decide how they want to spend it once inside the event.
Visitors can choose from £20, £30 or £50 of pre-paid credit, with online purchases offering savings of up to 10% compared with on-the-day prices. The more credit purchased, the greater the saving.
Credit can be used across the event’s rides and at more than 70 game stalls. Visitors simply scan their QR code when they want to use their credit.
There is also an added incentive for those purchasing larger amounts. £30 and £50 Ride & Game Credit purchases automatically qualify for free event entry, worth up to an additional £9.50 per person.
Unused credit can be used on another visit
One of the biggest advantages of the new system is that visitors don’t necessarily have to use all their credit during a single day.
Any leftover Ride & Game Credit remains valid throughout the 2026/27 Winter Wonderland season, allowing visitors to return and use their remaining balance on another visit.
The official Winter Wonderland app can also be used to check a visitor’s remaining balance and transaction history while in the park.
The app includes a digital wallet for tickets and credit, as well as an interactive map and personalised itinerary to help visitors plan their day.
Which option is best?
The new ticketing options give visitors several different ways to plan their Winter Wonderland experience.
The Coaster Pass looks particularly suited to serious ride enthusiasts who want to concentrate on the event’s rollercoasters, while the Explorer Pass offers a wider variety of experiences for families and groups with different interests.
Meanwhile, Ride & Game Credit could appeal to visitors who don’t want to decide exactly which rides they will experience before arriving.
With Winter Wonderland continuing to offer a huge combination of rides, attractions, games, food and entertainment, the new options could make it easier for visitors to build a day around the experiences they are most interested in.
The 2026 edition of Hyde Park Winter Wonderland opens on 19 November 2026 and runs until 3 January 2027.
