Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is bringing a familiar family rollercoaster to London this Christmas, with Spinning Racer arriving as a new attraction for the 2026 festive season.
The ride, previously featured at Lightwater Valley Family Adventure Park in North Yorkshire, is set to give visitors to the capital another opportunity to enjoy its combination of twists, turns and spinning thrills.
Spinning Racer is listed among the attractions for this year’s Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, which runs from 19 November 2026 until 3 January 2027.
Spinning Racer Arrives at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland
Spinning Racer is one of the new additions visitors can look forward to at this year’s Winter Wonderland in London.
The family rollercoaster is known for its colourful appearance and spinning ride vehicles, offering a lively experience as riders travel around the track.
At Lightwater Valley, the attraction was introduced as a new ride for the 2026 season. Its appearance at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland gives the coaster a new festive setting, bringing its family-friendly thrills to one of the UK’s best-known Christmas events.
The ride is located in Santa Land, where visitors can explore a range of family attractions alongside the event’s festive entertainment, food stalls and Christmas market.
What Can Visitors Expect From Spinning Racer?
As the name suggests, spinning is a key part of the experience.
Riders can expect a rollercoaster journey featuring bends, twists and unexpected spins, creating a different sensation from a traditional coaster.
The attraction is aimed at families and visitors looking for an exciting ride without necessarily stepping up to the more intense thrill rides elsewhere at Winter Wonderland.
Its colourful design and accessible family appeal make it a welcome addition to Santa Land’s collection of attractions.
However, visitors should check the ride’s height requirements before joining the queue.
Spinning Racer Ticket Prices at Winter Wonderland
Visitors planning to experience Spinning Racer can purchase individual ride tickets, with advance prices listed on the official Winter Wonderland website.
The published advance prices are:
- Adult: £8
- Child: £6
The ride is listed as available throughout the event day, although queues may close before the overall event closes at 10pm to accommodate visitors already waiting.
Spinning Racer has a minimum height restriction of 1.2 metres. Children under 1.4 metres must be accompanied by an adult.
Visitors should check the official website for the latest ticket prices and booking conditions before travelling.
When Does Hyde Park Winter Wonderland Open?
Hyde Park Winter Wonderland returns to London’s Hyde Park from 19 November 2026 to 3 January 2027.
The annual event combines Christmas markets, festive food and drink, live entertainment, ice skating and a wide selection of fairground rides and attractions.
